Manufacturing Process
This type of coating is applied by spraying epoxy powder on the preheated bars in order to quickly cure the epoxy. |
A) The external surface is shot-blasted (SIS 05.59.00 Sa 2 1/2) to remove millscale and rust, obtaining metal surface. |
B) The bar is heated in a induction heater at a controlled temperature. |
C) The bar is then coated with epoxy powder by electrostatic guns. |
D) When epoxy powder is coated, the bar is preheated to 240℃, in order to quickly cure the epoxy. |
E) After polymerization, cooling is done by water. |

Corrosion-resistant bar/construction for the water hazard and moisture place of Bridge, Tunnel, Building, Highway, etc.
