Features
Our fusion bonded epoxy coating pipe (FBE) offers the collowing excellent features. |
A) Wide range of service temperature : -45℃ to 100℃ |
B) Excellent resistance to cathodic disbonding and excellent waterproofing. |
C) Excellent impact resistance, bendability and adhesion. |
D) Smooth and pleasing appearance. |
Manufacturing Process
This type of coating is applied by spraying epoxy power on the preheated pipes in order to quickly cure the epoxy. |
A) The external surface is shot-blasted (SIS 05.59.00 SA 1/2) by removing millscale and rust, abtaining metal surface. |
B) The pipe is heated in a gas or induction oven at a controlled temperature. |
C) The pipe is then coated with epoxy power by electrostatic guns. |
D) When epoxy power is coated, the pipe is preheated to 235℃, in order to quickly cure the epoxy. |
E) After polymerization, cooling is done by water. |
Applications
Corrosion-resistant underground pipelines for the transport of Gas, Oil, Water, etc. |
