Stainless Steel Plate 316
Stainless Steel Plate
is a special steel which contains more than 12%wt of Cr.
It has elegant surface and corrosion resistance, so STS plate doesn't need to be coated or painted when used in various ways.
There are different kinds of STS plates such as 13Cr, 18Cr, and 18Cr-8Ni, and the main component Cr forms a thin Cr2O3 layer on the surface of the plate to intercept oxygen, a main reason for the plates to rust, from getting into the plate.
Characteristics of the Goods
Very high corrosion resistance, part corrosion resistance, high temperature strength; thanks to the addition of molybdenum (2~3 %).
